Italy: American student dies after falling from wall in Rome

As reported by thelocal.it, a 21-year-old American student fell 15 metres to his death during the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to reports, the young man had been sitting on a wall close to the Ponte Sisto on the banks on the Tiber river when he fell. The young man, identified by La Repubblica newspaper as Andrew Cate Carr, a student at John Cabot University, “may have climbed onto the wall while joking around, then tripped and fell,” according to the chief police officer at Trevi police station.
