India: Road collision kills nine pilgrims

In a tragic road accident on Tuesday morning, at least nine persons, including eight passengers and the helper of a Puri bound tourist bus from Purosattampur Panskura of East Medinapur district in West Bengal, were killed after a lime stone laden speeding truck hit the bus from backside near Jamujhadi over bridge under Simulia police station limits. The bus had parked on the roadside as some passengers had alighted for performing their morning ablutions near the bridge.
