Fifth Death from H1N1 Virus Confirmed, Piura Peru

Five had increased the number of deaths from the H1N1 virus in the Piura region, said yesterday the Director of Health, Luis Saavedra. He added that in total there are 152 confirmed cases of influenza AH1N1, AH3N2 and type B, while 38 cases are still to be confirmed by the National Institute of Health (NIH).
Yesterday he confirmed the latest death. This is a 63 year old, who after 38 days of detention passed by the dreaded virus, while the death of the candidate for mayor of Huancabamba Gustavo Correa, could be the sixth fatality since it is between cases probable. Read Article
