Egypt: Journalist from New Zealand arrested in Cairo

According to stuff.co.nz, a New Zealand journalist is being held by Egyptian authorities – the latest arrest in what organisations are calling a “growing hostility” towards reporters. Former TVNZ reporter Wayne Hay, who has been reporting for Al Jazeera since 2006, has been in Egypt for less than a year. He was one of four arrested by officials and the group have been held since Tuesday. Read article
