Cyprus: local taxis threatens to strike due “threats to their livelihood”

(ANSAmed) – NICOSIA, MAY 10 – Tourists and travelers in Cyprus could face a day of misery on Monday as local taxi drivers have threatened to block the entrance to Larnaca airport as part of their ongoing complaints about ”threats to their livelihood”. The action falls on a day which sees thousands of Scandinavian tourists and regular passengers arriving and departing from the island’s main airport.
