French Alps: Briton falls to his death climbing Mont Blanc summit

As reported by Mmirror.co.uk, a British climber has plunged 1000ft to his death in the French Alps after scaling Mont Blanc on a section dubbed ‘the corridor of death’. The 30-year-old man was with three friends on the Gouter corridor, a popular access route to Mont Blanc, when he ‘lost his balance’, according to police. Mountain police were alerted at 9.30am on Saturday. A rescue helicopter quickly found the man but he had died at the scene. Read Article
