Australian Expat commits suicide in Malaysia

AN Australian man has been found dead in the bedroom of his own apartment in Malaysia, after a maid discovered his body. The man, who was on expatriate, was discovered by his maid at around 6.45pm on Monday, according to Brickfields Police Department Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Azlee Abdullah. Local Malaysian media reports say he was found after he allegedly hanged himself in his bedroom at an apartment at Mont Kiara. The 45-year-old man was a managing director of a food production company. “We believe it is suicide as the man left a note to his wife who is in the Netherlands with their child,” Muhammad Azlee said.
