Thailand: Italian photojournalist died in Political Violence in 2010

BANGKOK, 25 May 2012 (NNT) – A sister of late Italian photojournalist Fabio Polenghi, who died in political violence in 2010 in Thailand, has said she was pleased with the government’s assistance for her family. Ms. Elisabetta Polenghi said she wanted her brother’s death to remind people of how important the press freedom is in the society. She has reportedly made her intention known to the Thai government that she wanted to raise this awareness in her own campaign. Read article
