Indonesia: Tourists warned of dangers of jellyfish stings after recent spate of attacks off Java

If the tide is high and the night falls, tourists may not swim or be in the water. As many as 60 tourists were stung by jellyfish at Pelabuhanratu Beach, West Java, Indonesia on Saturday. “Jellyfish were swept into the beach due to the cold water and they sting visiting tourists,” spokesperson of Sukabumi Water Tourism Safety Board Dede Sumarna said here on Saturday.
