Florida: Man and son saves tourist from drowning

A day at the beach with dad turned into a day one father and son won’t soon forget. They ended up saving the life of a struggling swimmer. It was a dangerous weekend along our local beaches. Lifeguards reporting one rescue after another, from Palm Beach County to the Treasure Coast. Tristan Ersberger: He was like this, waving his hands everywhere. I heard him yell help. A wave went over him and then I didn’t see him come back up again. The man was fighting for his life in dangerous waves.

South Kohala, Hawaii: Tourist pleads guilty

A Washington state man accused of beating his girlfriend to death at a Hawaii resort has pleaded guilty. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser ( http://bit.ly/MBssCz) reports prosecutors say 46-year-old Philip Howard Zimmerman pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder, kidnapping and criminal property damage. Vancouver, Washington: Teenager succumbs to Salmonella

Canada Murder suspect detained at U.S. border entry
