According to sfgate.com, a United Airlines jet made an emergency landing at San Francisco International Airport on Sunday morning roughly an hour after lifting off on a trans-oceanic journey. United Flight 863 had departed SFO at 11:45 p.m. Saturday bound for Sydney, Australia, according to an airport spokesperson.
