According to abcactionnews.com, Clearwater Police say they have arrested a man who tried to kidnap a woman on Tuesday. Detectives say Joshua Hockaday, 42, attempted to abduct the 50-year-old woman at the Clarion Inn & Suites on U.S. 19. The woman was visiting from Aurora, Illinois, and was reportedly in the Bay area to see family. The woman was able to scream for help. Her son, who police say is in his 20s, ran outside of their hotel room and the suspect fled. Read article
