According to thenational.ae, “Two men who kidnapped and raped a woman after her drink was spiked at a Dubai nightclub had their ten-year jail terms upheld by the Appeals Court today. The woman, from the UK, became disoriented after drinking at the Rock Bottom Cafe in the Regent Palace Hotel in Bur Dubai on July 6 last year and hailed a cab before falling asleep on the back seat. When she awoke a red Hyundai pulled up beside the taxi and three Iranian men paid her fare and told the driver they knew her.
