An Irish tourist, 41, on holiday with her boyfriend, 40, tragically fell from a guest room balcony late on Sunday (June 17) at Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach and died instantly. The couple was staying at the Poseidon Hotel. The woman died of fatal head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. COMMENT: Unfortunately, the majority of hotels in Europe are designed more for for enjoying the sun and relaxing on balconies rather than preventing falls.
