British cruise ship passenger drowns on trip to British Virgin Islands

According to birminghammail.com, a holidaymaker from Birmingham drowned after going for a swim in rough seas while on a Caribbean cruise, an inquest heard. Lloyd Schrouder, 54, of Glen Park, Ward End, was pulled out of the water but attempts to resuscitate him failed – as desperate relatives waited 45 minutes for an ambulance. In a statement his wife Valerie said that she, her husband and other family members had been on a cruise on the Sea Princess to the British Virgin Islands when tragedy struck. Read article
