According to examiner.com, a California woman was attacked by what appears to be a massive shark off the coast of Maui, Hawaii this past week. The size of the bite marks have led doctors to estimate that the shark itself may have been gigantic. Regardless, Evonne Cashman was bitten while swimming and is now lucky to be alive. UPI reported August 5 that Evonne Cashman was swimming Wednesday morning in about ten feet of water some thirty feet from Ulua Beach in Wailea, Maui, when the shark suddenly attacked. She says she is still finding the incident difficult to believe. Read article
