Phillipines: tourist bus involved in crash with truck, seven killed, 34 injured

balita.ph repported that seven people were killed and 34 others injured when a Manila-bound chartered tourist bus carrying graduating tourism students crashed head on with a delivery truck Thursday at around 11 p.m. along Marcos Highway in Taloy, Tuba, Benguet.

The mishap occurred some 15 kilometers southwest of Baguio City and 234 kilometers north of Manila.

Insp. Virgilio A. Hidalgo, public information officer of the Baguio City Police Office, said initial investigation showed the bus was carrying graduating Bachelor of Science in Tourism (BST)students from the Marinduque State College (MSC).
