Algeria: 29 Tourists from Europe Missing in Sahara Desert over last six weeks

dailymail.co.uk reported that the search for 29 European tourists who disappeared in the Sahara Desert gained momentum as tiny – but insufficient – clues to their whereabouts surfaced and special teams from Europe arrived. Six separate groups of tourists – from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands – have disappeared over the past six weeks and neither search parties on camels nor helicopters with heat-seeking sensors have been able to locate them. Footpaths not known to have existed have been uncovered, the Swiss Foreign Ministry said Tuesday without elaborating. Read Article
