British embassy in Yemen to close amid security concerns

The BBC reports that the British embassy in Yemen is to be closed on Sunday and Monday as “a precautionary measure”, the Foreign Office has confirmed. A spokesman would not say if the closure was in response to a specific threat. It comes after the US issued a global travel alert and announced it would close 21 of its embassies on Sunday. South Sudanese expat arrested in Uganda for stealing motorcycle
