Sinai, Egypt: Egyptian Security forces warning travelers of terrorist attacks during holiday

Egyptian Security Forces in the Sinai – including south Sinai and Sharm al-Sheikh – are warning of an increased risk of terrorist attack during the Eid al-Adha holiday, October 25 – 29. Tourists travelling to Sharm al-Sheik are being advised by security forces to avoid “unsecured venues”, such as bazaars, shopping malls, night clubs or restaurants that cater to foreign tourists, during this period.
