RIO DE JANEIRO, October 10 (RIA Novosti) – The first suspected case of Ebola has been reported in Brazil where a man from Guinea, one of the affected West African countries, was hospitalized overnight with symptoms consistent with the lethal Ebola virus disease, the Brazilian Health Ministry said.
The 47-year-old was taken to an isolated ward at a hospital in the western Brazilian city of Cascavel, in Parana state, after developing Ebola-like symptoms 21 days after leaving West Africa, the O Globo newspaper cited health authorities as saying. Read Article
