Tourists Stranded in Mexico due to tropical storm

Sadly the reality right now is that thousands of exhausted travellers are lining up in the mud, relying largely on military personnel and muster points to get out. Tourists are being taken to Mexico City by air but very limited flights mean long waits and priority for the elderly and families with young children. Meanwhile there is flooding, disruption of power and all the discomfort of being in a tropical storm. The general advice from the Foreign Office, goes like this: Hurricane Ingrid and Tropical Storm Manuel have affected most parts of the country. The airport in Acapulco and the motorway from Mexico City to Acapulco are closed. Lebanon: Syrian national kidnapped by armed men in Zahle

Dailystar.com.lb reported that, a Syrian national was kidnapped in the Bekaa Valley overnight Thursday, the National News Agency reported. Syrian national Ahmad Hassoun filed a complaint at the Zahle police station alleging that his brother, Ibrahim, was kidnapped by five armed men driving a gray Range Rover in the city of Zahle.
