Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) along with Border Guard thwart terrorist kidnap attempt

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Border Guard have foiled another attempt by Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists to kidnap someone within pre-1967 Israel – but the facts were withheld under gag order till Sunday. The attempted attack took place just a few weeks ago – on January first – when members of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization tried to make their way into Israel through one of the crossings from Palestinian Authority territory. United States: unidentified power plant attacked by computer virus, fall 2012

Rueters.com reported that a computer virus attacked a turbine control system at a U.S. power company last fall when a technician unknowingly inserted an infected USB computer drive into the network, keeping a plant off line for three weeks, according to a report posted on a U.S. government website. France orders tighter security at public buildings, transportation networks

Egypt: Tourists warned to avoid visit North Sinai due to high threats of terrorism
