Pakistan: Two Chinese tourists robbed in Lahore

Thenews.com.pk reports that two Chinese were robbed in the provincial metropolis on Sunday. Four men, pretending to be FIA officials, robbed two Chinese citizens of $5,000 and 5,000 Malaysian ringgits near the Civil Secretariat building. Police said the Chinese citizens, living in a hotel on Davis Road, were on a business trip to Pakistan. They were moving in a rented car with a Pakistani friend when unidentified men approached them and after impersonating as FIA officials, on pretext of checking their visa and passport, deprived them of valuables and fled away. Pakistan: At least three dead after chairlift falls into river

According to pakobserver.net, aast least three persons drowned when a chairlift fell in the Swat River near Asrit area on Monday. A private news channel quoted eye-witnesses as saying that the rope of the chairlift was broken. The deceased included a father and his two sons. Read article
