Turkish boy killed as a result of clashes in Syria

The BBC reports that a Turkish boy has died and another has been seriously wounded by stray gunfire from clashes across the Syrian border. Mahsun Ertugrul, 17, died after a stray bullet struck him in the chest in the Turkish border town of Ceylanpinar. The bullets came from the northern Syrian town of Ras-al Ain, during a battle between Syrian anti-government rebels and Kurdish fighters. Read article

Syrian politician killed in gunmen attack near Beirut

Dailystar.com.lb reported that, pro-regime Syrian politician Mohammad Jemo was shot dead in south Lebanon early Wednesday, al-Manar television station said. The station, the mouthpiece of Hezbollah, said the assassination took place in the southern coastal town of Sarafand. Read Article

Road accident in UAE kills Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan expats
