United Arab Emirates: Tourist arrested for witchcraft after making claims of sorcery

According to khaleejtimes.com, “An Arab man has been arrested by the Abu Dhabi Police for sorcery ten days after he arrived in the country as a tourist. The 38-year-old man, H.H., claimed that he could harmonise hearts of people, dissolve the power of black magic and multiply money. He said each magic talisman — a mixture of magic material ­— has its own cost. Colonel Dr Rashid Mohammed Burasheed, Director of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department of Abu Dhabi Police, said the man was arrested after the police was tipped off that suspect was performing witchcraft.” Read Article
