UAE: Traffic accidents kill one Asian tourist, injure another

Gulftoday.ae reports that an Asian man was killed on the first day of Ramadan while another sustained severe injuries in a separate accident, prompting a senior traffic police officer to urge drivers to check their speed. The Asian was killed at Arabian Ranches at 8:30am on Wednesday, following a collision between two vehicles in a sandy area, said the Director of Traffic Police in Dubai, Col Saif Mohair Al Mazroui. In a separate incident, a man sustained severe injuries and was taken to hospital following a runover mishap in Al Qusais area at 1.30pm. Read article
