UAE: Tourist arrested after stealing taxi at knifepoint

Emirates247.com reports that a foreign tourist waved for a silver cab in Abu Dhabi and asked its driver to take to his destination. A few minutes later, the tourists pulled a knife, put it close to the driver’s face and ordered him to get out before jumping behind the wheel and driving away. The 24-year-old driver told police that he was shocked by the sudden act by the tourist and that he had no choice but to leave the car. Read article
