Spaniard hospitalized in Costa Rica with hantavirus

Nacion.com reports that a man of 28 years old Spanish origin, is isolated in the Intensive Care Unit, Hospital San Vicente de Paul in Heredia, on suspicion of hantavirus. This disease usually transmitted by rodent droppings and is characterized by high fever, respiratory disease, and lung problems.
