Spain: hiker dies after falling 80 meters into ravine in Girona

A hiker died 48 years this weekend in the town of Montagut i Oix in Garrotxa (Girona), accidentally falling into a ravine from a height of about 80 meters, reported today the Catalan firemen. The man, a resident of Girona, left last Friday for a tour of an area known as Ferran crest and was expected to return on Sunday, according to a statement from the fire department. Read Article
