Rome Italy: U.S. student’ blood stained body found in river, suspected of being murdered

telegraph.co.uk reported Italian prosecutors have launched a murder investigation into the death of an American university student whose blood-stained body was found floating in Rome’s Tiber river on Monday.

Beau Solomon, 19, a finance student from Spring Green in Wisconsin, had just arrived in Rome for a five-week summer course at John Cabot University, a prominent American university in the heart of the city.

Forensic police were called when the student’s body was found near the Marconi Bridge on Monday after he had been missing for four days. Read Article
