Indonesia: Journalist injured when hit by tear gas canister at protest

The Jakarta Post reports that a television journalist suffered a serious wound on his temple after police fired tear gas at demonstrators in a rally against fuel price hikes in Jambi, on Monday. A Trans7 journalist in Jambi, Nugroho Anton, was injured by a police tear gas canister as he was reporting on the rally in front of the Jambi Legislative Council (DPRD) office. Read article
