Galapagos Islands: U.S. tourist dies from head injury

Diariolasamericas.com reported that a 74-year U.S. tourist died in the Galapagos Islands. The tourist, who was identified as Jane White, had come to the islands and died during a visit to the tortoise breeding center “Jacinto Gordillo”. The center stated that Ms. White stumbled and received a head one after hitting a rock. There was a delay getting her to the medical facility, Oskar Jandl hospital because of the remote location.
