Choroní, Venezuela – 1062 tourists evacuated from Puerto Cabello

After the collapse(landslide)that occurred on Friday at mile 13, between Choroní and Maracay in Aragua state, over a thousand vacationers were evacuated Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, to the port of Puerto Cabello, through a humanitarian operation conducted by the Integrated Area Defence Operations North Carabobo (ZODIO).
One thousand 62 tourists boarded the three boats on Sunday in the second phase of the operation Choroní-Punta Brava, moved to Puerto Cabello naval base, and then to buses that would move to Valencia and Maracay.
