Sedona Arizona: Canandian tourist rescued off of ledge 700 ft. above bottom of Oak Creek Canyon

KPHO.com reported that crews have rescued a tourist who got stranded on a narrow ledge about 700 feet from the bottom of Oak Creek Canyon near Flagstaff. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said their technical rescue team has raised 50-year-old Elise Heon, of Canada, up to the rim of the canyon using a rope. She was taken by helicopter to the Slide Rock area and then sent to Sedona Medical Center as a precaution. Read Article
