Australia, tourist helicopter crash 2009, caused by lack of fuel

An investigation has found that a Gold Coast tourist helicopter that crashed at Dreamworld two years ago took off without enough fuel in the tanks to complete the flight. The Bell Jetranger chopper left the Dreamworld helipad at Coomera on the afternoon of June 10, 2009 on a 20-minute scenic flight with four passengers, but 15 minutes into the flight the fuel pump warning light illuminated briefly.
